Radisson Collection Resort, Galle Welcomes Eduard Sarton as General Manager

The Radisson Hotel Group has announced the appointment of Eduard Sarton as General Manager of Radisson Collection Resort, Galle — the Group’s first Radisson Collection property in the Southeast Asia & Pacific (SEAP) region.

A Global Leader in Luxury Hospitality

Eduard Sarton brings with him over two decades of international hospitality experience, with an impressive leadership portfolio across Asia-Pacific and Oceania.

Most recently, he served as Managing Director for Rosewood Hotels & Resorts in New Zealand, where he oversaw celebrated properties including Rosewood Kauri Cliffs, Cape Kidnappers, and Matakauri. Prior to that, he was General Manager at Langham Hospitality Group in Auckland.

His nearly 12-year tenure with Rosewood Hotels & Resorts saw him take on General Manager roles at New World Dalian Hotel, New World Beijing Hotel, and New World Saigon Hotel. Earlier in his career, he held senior Food & Beverage leadership positions at Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts in Manila and Kuala Lumpur.

A New Chapter for Radisson Collection in Sri Lanka

Commenting on his appointment, Eduard said:

Opened on 18 January 2025, Radisson Collection Resort, Galle combines contemporary design with warm Sri Lankan hospitality, offering a refined beachside escape on the island’s scenic southern coast.

Eduard officially assumed his role on 1 July 2025. In his new capacity, he will focus on:
