Barista gets NVQ Level 4 certification

Barista Coffee Lanka (Pvt.) Ltd has achieved a significant recognition by being awarded the National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 04 accreditation from the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC). This accreditation is for the NVQ Level 04 Barista Training Programme, which is the first of its kind in Sri Lanka. Barista designed and funded this program to enhance vocational education in alignment with international standards in the coffee industry. CEO Dilupa Pathirana emphasized that this initiative aims to transform how the coffee sector contributes to Sri Lanka’s economic and human resource development by providing structured training programmes.
