The Industry Ministry and Daraz Sri Lanka work together to create more robust avenues for the expansion of SMEs

Daraz Sri Lanka, in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development, recently conducted a specialized training session under the National Relationship Officer (RO) Programme. The initiative aims to enhance the abilities of field-level development officers so they can better support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in improving their online presence and accessing broader customer bases. The training was delivered at the Sri Lanka Institute of Management (SLIM) and engaged 53 field officers from across the nation. The program is a part of a larger strategy intended to transform Development Officers into Relationship Officers, facilitating informed support for entrepreneurs. This collaboration reflects a commitment to empowering Sri Lankan SMEs during a digital transformation, thereby strengthening resilience and expanding market access.
